 Antique American scrimshaw cane with whale ivory paneled knob inlaid with Abalone shell. Engraved on the top is the name "G.John...." The shaft is all whale bone with a rope twisted "rope" design and connected to the knob with a baleen spacer. Circa 1860. Good condition with bend in the shaft. SIZE: 35 inches long.
