 A very fine early Daguerreotype in a superb engine turned silver gilt frame. American (New Bedford) origin circa 1850's. Braided hair in back window. Excellent quality with colors to vest, bowtie and jacket. Good condition with some edge discolorations and minor rub. Initials of sitter: W.P.O. Size: 2.75 inches overall.
