Antique oil painting of Steamboat City of Gloucester

A choice antique oil on canvas painting of the passenger steamboat "City of Gloucester" painted by Clement Drew (Boston and Cape Ann artist, 1806-1889) circa 1888. The Steamship was owned by the Boston and Gloucester Steamboat Company (built 1884, Brooklyn, NY) and is pictured just off the Eastern Point Light, Gloucester. The photo dates circa 1900. Very good lined condition with scattered retouch. Size: 29x21 inches overall.
