Antique scrimshaw sperm whale's tooth engraved with a Brig H.M.S. Fantome (built Chatham Dockyard 1836 dismantled 1865) done circa 1850. The reverse depicts an English sailor with the Union Jack flag with crossed swords and pistols. Excellent condition with a nice old patina. Size: 4.5 inches tall.
