Choice collector's bird carving signed "HOOTON KOHALA '68". Carved of dense heavy tropical teak wood (?) with the BILL carved OF whale ivory. Philip Hooton, widely known Hawaiian master carver died in 1997 age 83. Size; 5 inches long.
