On April 23rd a wonderful tooth was auctioned off in Seekonk, Mass. I was the lucky buyer - buying it for a client. The price ended up with premiums at $35,750. Wow! This is an extraordinary tooth with most of the top scrim buyers in a heated competition. We don't know the name of the engraver yet but he sure knew how to put it all together - fully active whale hunt with a rare detailed view of George's hilltop home. Deep rich patina and strong details makes this tooth a "10". |
