 A rare and choice antique scrimshaw sperm whale's tooth engraved with a full-length figure of "Fanny Campbell, the Female Pirate Captain", holding a skull and cross bone pirate's flag! American origin circa 1850. Some polychrome details. The reverse is engraved with a classical warrior figure wielding a large sword. Excellent condition with good patina. Size: 5.5 inches long.
