 A rare and choice round wooden tub with heart shaped carved handles circa 1860. Very similar handles are found on Nantucket Lighship baskets of the same period. Found in an sail loft, Old North Wharf, Nantucket. Nice old untouched dark patina - note the alternating light/dark design to the staves. Very good condition with some some looses and breaks. Size: 13.75 X 6 inches.
