Antique Sperm whale tooth with scrimshaw portrait of George Washington based on the famous 1772 painting by Charles Wilson Peale. Portrait enclosed by a polychrome border with a rose garland and banner beneath. Exceptionally well done and retains great color. American circa 1860. Measures 4-3/4" tall.
