Antique Tortoise Shell & Silver Snuff Box from Hussey / Ewer Family of Nantucket

Antique tortoise shell and silver snuff box engraved SH to EH, 1803. Included record (later) indicates "Stephen Hussey to Eunice Hussey, Stephen was the father of Eunice who married Silvanus Ewer and is related to Peter Ewer (inventor of maritime Camel). A great item of Nantucket history from it's golden age of Whaling prosperity. Great condition with a few small losses. Measures 2-1/2" diameter.
