Rare Antique Japanese Doll with Nantucket History

A rare antique Japanese doll with very interesting Nantucket history. Brought back to Nantucket in 1826 with the effects of David Swain, a lost whaleman, while on the Ship Aurora. (Old written card available). Very good untouched condition. Size: 11 inches tall.
