Antique selfportrait of Charles Furneaux 1870

Rare antique self portrait of the artist CHARLES FURNEAUX (1835-1913). Painted on paper and mounted on cardboard the portrait is framed what appears to to be its original gold leaf frame. Handwritten and labelled information on the back. Furneaux is noted for his Hawaiian landscapes. He lived and died in Hawaii. The painting is heavily varnished and has had scattered in-painting. Size: 12.5 x 14.5 inches overall.
