Antique Scrimshaw Sewing Box

Antique scrimshaw sewing box made with whalebone, tortoise shell, and mahogany. Features a diamond shaped pincushion on lid and reticulated whalebone edging. Inside contains two pincushions and two compartments. American circa 1875. Great condition with some normal warping of whalebone. Measures 11" x 8" x 4-3/4".
