Antique Scrimshaw Hearth Watch Hutch

An unusual antique scrimshaw watch hutch in the form of a hearth fireplace. This grand sized example employs scrimshaw elements and inlaid decoration. Features reverse glass painted panels, fluted stiles, a single dovetailed drawer, and three bone carved fireplace tools. American circa 1850. Ex. Dingman collection.
