Rare Oval Nantucket Wooden Tub

A rare and oval Nantucket wooden tub circa1860. Very similar handles are found on Nantucket Lightship baskets of the same period. Found in an attic on Nantucket. Nice old untouched dark patina - note the alternating light/dark design to the staves. Very good condition with some small loss to one handle. Measures 13" x 10" x 7" tall. SOLD ex.
