Antique carved and painted ABNER COBURN ship picture

Choice antique carved and painted ship picture of the ABNER COBURN (after Charles R. Patterson's painting) circa 1930's. The three-masted ship was built in Bath, Maine and named after a well known Maine Governor. The artist is Lloyd H. Thomas from Camden, Maine (signed lower right) and is noted for his carved and painted marine pictures. Masterfully carved with three dimensional details to the ship's hull. sails and rolling waves. Note the dolphins and the undulating waves. Excellent cleaned condition, Original frame. Size: 19 x 25.5 inches overall.
