Antique Temple style whaling harpoon made by Snow & Purrington circa 1850. Marked "S & P" near tip, "Cic" for whaleship Cicero of New Bedford, MA, and "I I I" for the whaleboat. Fitted to a reproduction wood pole with ropework. Harpoon measures 37" long and 107" overall with pole.
