Antique Double Flue Whaling Harpoon - P.E. Merrihew

Antique double flue whaling harpoon made by Phinneas E. Merrihew of New Bedford circa 1855. Whalecraft by Merrihew are very scarce and rarely turn up on the market. Original surface condition with dark patina. Marlin wrap on socket is a later addition. Measures 32-1/2" long.
