Antique whaling logbook of the Whaleship Helca out of Sippican, MA August 19, 1844 to March 11, 1845. Incomplete log of the homeward bound voyage. Descriptive day to day entries include taking aboard men from shipwreck, trouble with crew, and men breaking into barrel of whale teeth. Simple thumbnail sketches depicting land.

Fair condition with loose binding. Measures 16" by 10".
