M/V Naushon Bridge Wing egg tempera painting on board by Nantucket artist John Austin (1918-2001). Depicts the Steamship Authority M/V Naushon's port bridge wing. The Naushon served the Cape, Martha's Vineyard, and Nantucket with daily passenger and automobile service until 1987. One of Austin's smaller works but still has his typical composition, perspective, and color palette. Framed in black / white wood frame. Measures 11-1/4" by 13-1/4" overall framed.
