History states that it was made in 1889 by Provincetown fisherman aboard a Grand Banks fishing boat. Made with fishing line and old thread spools. Lead weighted keel - meant to be used in water. Excellent condition with minor repairs and retouched spots. The Frigate Boston was built in 1776 and saw action in the Revolution against British ships. Size: 56 inches long, 44 inches tall.
