Rare vintage silhouette weathervane of a HARPOONER on the bow of a whaleboat. Mounted on its original stand - arrow, cardinals and roof plate. Hand painted under the plate "MADE BY STARLINGS 1940, RAY..." Used on Nantucket for many years. Very good condition with remnants of black paint on weathered surface. SIZE: 24 x 25 inches overall.
