Antique Nantucket Lightship Basket by Oliver C. Coffin circa 1875. Rare example with original label that reads "Manufactured by Oliver C. Coffin formerly of South Shoal Lightship". Carved swing handle attaches to brass ears. Rattan with oak staves construction. Some loss to rim wrap and a few scattered weaver breaks. Measures 12" diameter.
