Antique Sperm Whale Tooth with Whaleship, Whale, and Monument
SKU:CSGN-KK-1Antique Sperm Whale's tooth engraved with a whaleship and whale on obverse and monument on reverse. An unusually peaceful whaling scene. Polychrome on the flag, ships hull, and parts of the monument. Tooth also retains cut marks no doubt from when the tooth was extracted. Measures approx 7" long. American, circa 1850.
