Antique Scrimshaw Sewing Chest

Antique American 19th century scrimshaw sewing chest. Inlaid with whalebone, mother of pearl, and whale ivory. Features a rotating two tiered spool holder decorated with whale bone inlays of whales, boats, and geometric designs. Mahogany and oak construction. Great condition, measures 11-3/4" wide by 15" high by 8-1/4" deep.
