Antique Scrimshaw Tooth - Ship Unicorn 1851

Antique 19th C. sperm whale tooth with finely done pictorial scrimshaw of a unicorn & shield with banner reading "Ship Unicorn 1851". The British ship Unicorn was rescued by the American ship Harriet in 1851 off the Grand Banks of Newfoundland. Great condition, measures 3-3/4" tall.
