Choice vintage Nantucket Lightship basket made by Michael Kane in 1976 (see bottom image for his signature). Nicely carved ivory right whale on cover. Very good condition with minor age crack on handle. Michael Kane is a master weaver and seldom do his vintage baskets become available. Size: 9 inch oval.
