Vintage Nantucket Basket Purse by David O. Hoyt

Rare vintage Nantucket basket purse by David O. Hoyt. Signed on bottom with #8274. Hoyt is related to the Brown family of Nantucket basket makers and his carved swing handle is very similar. Features a carved Blue whale on a mahogany plaque, knobs, and peg (chain attached). Great condition with nice aging patina. Measures 9" wide by 7-1/4" deep by 7-1/4" high.
