Vintage Nantucket Basket Purse by Gerald Brown

Vintage Nantucket basket purse by Gerald Brown circa 2000. Features a pictorial scrimshaw plaque portrait of the famous whaleship Charles Morgan. Additionally, the wood on the top and base are from the Charles Morgan making this a great fusion of whaling and Nantucket basketry. Excellent condition with a variegated patina. Measures 9-1/4" wide by 7" high by 7" deep.
