Vintage Nantucket Basket Purse by Stephen Gibbs

Vintage Nantucket Basket purse by Stephen Gibbs (1896-1974) circa 1960. A medium size purse with a dark aged patina. Maker's mark stamped on bottom. Features three carved seagull ornaments on an ebony plaque, knobs, peg, and latch. Includes original business card and pamphlet. Excellent condition. Measures 10-1/2" wide by 7-1/4" deep by 7-1/4" high.
