Vintage Round Nantucket Basket Purse by José Formoso Reyes

Vintage round Nantucket Basket purse attributed to José Formoso Reyes (1902-1980) circa 1955. Rare 8" diameter round form featuring a carved Seahorse atop an ebony plaque. Oak formed and carved swing handle. Signature worn off from bottom. New front clasp, otherwise great condition with a rich & dark patina. Measures 9" diameter by 7" tall overall.
